But having pulled down the box. It's nothing special. Just large parts. Not refined like a jap box. The sincros are what the oil is specified for. So they don't wear out. And actually work. If the oil was too thick. They probably wouldn't work . If the sincros worked with super thick oil. I would put it in. Its a really basic design. Im sure if someone could be bothered. They could trial alot cheaper alternatives and find the right medium for sincros and gears. It's just a lazy ass sh*t design.built for cheap strength. Anyway $140 it works better than dex 111It says to stay away from synthetic oils?!?!?! I have a smal grind from 2-3 and it's noisy at idle a little..... Think oil would help it? He also did say I can run Dexron IIII bought my Transmax Z from Repco, cost me a smidge under $200, as they only sell it in 4 litre containers, and I wanted 4.8L (or 4.6, cant remember the exact spec).
