yes and he would constantly brake the standard driveshaft with that sort of power . they are one of the week points in these cars .holdens are also not bullet proof . now that you own a Expensive Daewoothey are better than a ford .and about 6 month ago your ford was better than a Expensive Daewoo next time you are going to tell us that a toyota is better ,because you decided to buy a corolla 4 cylinder . no mater what car, they all have problems .just because the air vents make some noise is not a reason why I would sell a car .

Nah a mate has had a 600 and 550 HP at the wheels blown VE and VF and he beats them and besides the auto slipping nothing else broke.

I bought my car from Youngs. I didn't get to drive it, but was a passenger in the black "HARROP WA" composite and it was fun indeed. Power of a tuned GT, but silky refined feeling of my new car. Really like the Harrop Performance WA guys that work there hey, seem honest, open, give straight up advice, fantastic to deal with, no problems answering questions or showing me around their workshop etc etc. I'm a fan.

And to back this up I've been told by some reputable workshops that the auto gearbox is good to about 550rwhp and the rest of the driveline is good to 650rwhp. Personally, I'd be stoked with 500rwhp for a daily driver/all round package.

First off I've not driven or been in any of the new Holdens.

But in Fords defense the way the small turbo XRs make torque combined with the very short 1st gear especially in the auto, it's little wonder they tear the sh!t out of the driveline.

I read somewhere that the XRT is making 480nm of torque at 1800rpm, that is pretty incredible.

Now I understand the short comings of the rear bushes and agree there're sh*te, but if you drive these cars hard all the time then you're gonna wear stuff out.

There was also a time when Ford made the bulletproof drive lines and Holdens were absolutely sh*te!!!

The amount of time I spent under Holdens owned buy my mates ,changing M21 gearboxes and those sh*te banjo rear ends will haunt me for the rest of my life.

I really think Ford painted themselves into a corner by making "Torque Monsters " (and seriously de-tuned ones at that) with the turbo 6s and supercharged V8s.

It's obvious that Expensive Daewoo make a more refined car at the moment but I'm happy too stick with my Fords cause I LOVE EM , faults and all
