But I think these mods still fall under Holden's warranty if you go through the right channels. Again, I could be totally wrong on that.

You are correct, all of the Walkingshaw upgrades are covered under warranty hence why they cost more what trusty old mate Tuna down the road can do....

Also if you put it into perspective, I doubt that the sort of person who walks in to spend $90-95k on a new GTS is going to be too phased about sending $8k on some modifications with full factory warranty, if they wanted more power/performance.

.... I am surprised that price does not include some upgraded diff bushes

8k on fg xr6turbo will take you from 240ish to 350ish. just saying. 110kw for 8k is better. ;)

Yea you are right. But add another $15k for better brakes, suspension, half shafts, clutch or trans cooler and a few new diff bushes and you still would not be close :)

Power is not everything and you can't compare an XR6T to a GTS.

45k-95k. 50k play money and a xr6 will murder a gts.

I was talking to a bloke who had a Magnuson blower kit and a cam done on his SS-V Redline through KPM and he ran 10.7 and hadn't touched the rest of the driveline...try doing that in a Ford without breaking your tailshaft/half shafts/diff/diff bushes/cradle...

I bought my bommadore because I was over going fast, it gets boring quick

It was bought for everything my ford could not give me vs everything it could

A change is nice sometimes, how it pans out is going to be interesting though

Yeah, same for me JET. A bit more omph would be great, but as a day to day runabout you don't usually need the speed as you can't use it in traffic or around town.
