I installed mine today and needed 4 washers to get it closed.

Motor is stock and running .9bar boost. My bov came with a pink spring. I found it was opening way to early causing boost to vent out. I have fitted all 6 supplied washers to spring and retested , it is better but still not holding boost to .9 bar. Do I need a stiffer spring? Or can I put more washers? I have refitted it with 4 washers. And tightened the valve to the hardest setting then backed it off a little. Sounds great and holding boost as it should.
