Crazy coincidence but my Tornado has been doing this right after my tune this week as well. Iv got new coils to put in tomorrow to hopefully fix it if not back to the tuner it goes. Problem sounds exactly the same a yours as soon has I get a bit of boost 3000rpm it misfires and no power.

if there still the origanal coils just replace them as they are known to fail once there subjected to more load than std..... also recheck your plugs as again more boost applied will create more cylinder temps which can open the plug gaps if they are on the hi side of the preferred gapping.

Always use genuine ford coils !!

New coils should work I-jet. I put new coils in mine today and it's runs perfect now. Cheapest I found was from the supplier nortonmotorgroup on ebay. They were only $210 delivery for 6 genuine ford coils.

^^ Thanks mate, I thought I'd wait until today and just go up to the ford stealership up the road from home....Turns out that ford wants $53 each trade.....so I got some genuine ones from Norton Motor Group on ebay like your recommended. $210 + free shipping for a genuine set of 6. I mentioned the car was off the road while waiting for coils and he got back to me 30 mins later and said "no worries mate, I processed your order and I'll make sure they get shipped today with express post"

^^ Problem fixed bam. I got lazy and didn't update the thread. I received the coils the next day after ordering. I couldn't recommended that company enough, they were great to deal with and by far the cheapest place for genuine coils. Norton Motor Group on ebay. Thanks for putting me onto them. I'm back to enjoying full boost now. I have to say it only took a few days of driving for me to get use to the power and get over the....''powwwaaaahhhh!!!!''.... stage. It started to feel not that impressive any more......than I was bored last Friday night at about 8pm so I decided to go for a lap to Kiama and back through Jamberoo, it was cold that night, about 10 deg.....and holy chit balls, its a different animal on a cold night......... Back to being very impressed again......So I'm thinking I'll just be behaving myself (within reason) during the day and wait till the evenings for a "SMASH MY DATE" run.
