I wanna keep the stock look and hide everything, so I am not looking for new amps I just want replacement speakers and a sub. I was going to go with the JBL 8" sub and was thinking some alpine splits for the front and some 2-way ones for the back. I was wondering if anyone can recommend any reasonably priced speaker and also has installed splits in the front and kept the factory tweeters? Thanks Roweyy

I run the wires down outside of dash, hidden under plastic covers and under kick panel, where I placed crossover.Driver side wires, picked up from under kick panel.Crossover driverCrossover passengerAnd don't forget sound deadener, improves greatly sound quality and stopping rattles.Rears

That's the way it's wired in the BF, I assume it's the same if the FG.

It only allows high frequencies to pass and does it's best to reject the rest. So no crossover is needed, but if you replace the tweeter you need to use the crossover because it most likely wont have a filter OEM style.
