Just really waiting for performance clutch plates really and seeing how successful APS and Nizpro are. I am just developing the box for my own personal use so I'm in no real hurry.

Hey Turbotrana, what are the friction surface's. If I drive in manual mode and dont let the box flare (change earlier) will it still do damage without getting the line presure fixed?

Hey Jeff, were you getting slipage before the stage 2 or only after the upgrade. Have you had it rectified yet and if so what are your thoughts?

White Tee when do you plan on getting the auto upgraded would love your thoughts too.

Does the APS dealer in Melbourne do the auto upgrade?

would recommend upgrading your auto as the problem only started after the upgrade,since the stg 2 was fiited on friday I cant stop smiling it really is serious power just last night I had a run with a mate in his manual VY SS I didnt stall it up at all he jumped by half a car for the first 10mtrs buy the time I changed from 1st to 2nd I had put three cars on him to me that's why I modified my car in the first place to eat SS's :banghead:

I took the "T" back to the service department to have the auto fluid level checked today. The service manager said this could be a cause of the problem. The fluid level was a bit high and after it was fixed I tested the transmission and the flaring was still there. Its only slight flaring but its still flaring. The service manager said he would have a chat to the transmission engineers and get back to me. I asked what the likely senerio was and he said they may do a few tests and that if this didnt resolve the problem that they would replace the transmission. :banghead:

I have never owned a new car so I havn't had to deal with service departments before and I have heard stories over the years and also on here. I can tell you that the service department at NEWOAK FORD in Melbourne are awesome. I think I must have phoned them 20 or so times and taken the car in 5-10 times (in the last month) and nothing is ever too much of a problem. They listen to my explaination then if nessecary send a tech out with me so I can show them the problem. They have a genuine concern for my satisfaction with my new Ford. For anyone in Melbourne having difficulties with their dealer give NEWOAK a ring.

I asked the service manager about whether they could do the line presure mod but he told me that if they did it would void any further warrenty work.

I'll keep everyone posted on my transmission developments.
