devzz New Member 18 Member For: 11y 2m 22d Posted 05/10/14 12:26 PM Share Posted 05/10/14 12:26 PM I've recently driven a Ford Focus and territory along with a few other newish cars and have noticed the power steering in my xr6 is very tough compared to others (takes very little effort to turn the wheel compared to the falcon) is this common in Falcons or is there a chance my power steering pump could be routed? And yes the power steering fluid is full.Cheers

In saying that I prefer the heavier feel at high speed. Edited 06/10/14 01:53 AM by barnz

With the restrictor removed it was just the way I like it. Easy, and this also happens to be just the way I like my babes.I would think the B and F series have the restrictor somewhere. I have looked but could not see the crimp thing (the crimp is used on the E sereies) where they put the restrictor on the hose. Nevertheless if its on the hose you basically got to put on a new hose and just reuse the ends. I am thinking of doing this in my FG also if I can find the restrictor. It will sing you the song of it's people loud and proud. It will sound quite similar to everyone of Miley Cyrus's songs only slightly less irritating.
