Try some sound-deadener/ dynomat in the boot, particularly the spare wheel well.

Alternative is a J pipe for drone.

Your engine bay looks brand new! Well done.

I agree with the Dynomat in the boot trick before you go a valve Seaton

Remember seeing somewhere on the other forum that under the rear seat helped quite a lot as well but weigh up the cost of both as one may end up being a lot cheaper way to go. :)

Also, the valve "at idle" doesn't close totally and my car at the moment has a slightly weird sound as it lets a small amount of the gas out so if you go that way, be prepared to loose the excellent two open trumpet sound that the Nizzy has at idle

Yeah I'll just see how she goes over time. I haven't had it on the freeway so won't know till then.

Think I would prefer put the valve on than cover my floor with dynamat. Even though you can't see it.

Yeah I have been getting comments on how good it sounds.

It does need a few further tweaks, it really is a massive exhaust and it slightly hits the cradle at the moment.

Also, it slightly drones with the zf as you now hear the gear changes and the car almost drives around in 6th gear most the time.

Worst case, I will buy the valve and put it in as I have a 3yo I take away in the car and it might be worse in the back seat.

I'll see how we go, it might get a touch better as it carbons up a little over time.

My car has the Nizpro exhaust and it droned a bit so I sent it back to Nizpro(I'm in Perth) and got the valve put in,makes a huge difference, quiet when cruising and under light loads and open around 5.5 psi. I was playing with things and drilled 2 holes 8mm in the valve which amazingly changes the tone to a nicer sound at idle. I'm at 433rwkw.

Thought I'd add, the exhaust isn't that loud at all now,

I believe it was the fitment of it was touching on the cradle which resonated the drone through the cabin, as it was really bad, I couldn't understand how you other guys with the Niz exhaust could handle it. Haha

Its fitting better now. Still not perfect though, when it's hot and I'm at the lights after doing bit of a 2nd 3rd it slightly vibrates on something.

These things are a super tight fit.

Had to tighten all the bands on my zorst the other day Seaton. I tightened up one of the clamps on the rear rubber at the same time and mine is back to real quiet again.....only done 8200ks since fitted so maybe something to keep an eye on.
