Guest HORNXR Guests Posted 29/03/03 11:10 AM Share Posted 29/03/03 11:10 AM PS: I believe after some more research, the National figures for resale of both vehicles respectively are predicted to be after a 3 year period ,49% of purchase value. so I spose you gotta spend money to save money .. I am wearing the cost so I will be getting a XR badged one . They are scary figures ... Guest HORNXR Guests Posted 29/03/03 01:08 PM Share Posted 29/03/03 01:08 PM I do believe its based on a standard depreciative rate by beancounters and that's how they get their resale value , just like they already know what the car will be worth at the end of the lease ,.. I love my car... Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/893-have-you-driven-a-ba-v8/page/3/#findComment-15392 Share on other sites
Guest brett Guests Posted 15/08/03 11:07 AM Share Posted 15/08/03 11:07 AM I Got to drive an XR8 Auto the otherday while we had the Team Betta Electrical V8 Ford Falcon in the shop, I was amazed that it rev's not like a V8 but a 4. It is just so fast at getting around the rev band in fact it was quicker than our AU 6 cyl.Felt very well tied down, nearly as good as my Mini Cooper, but with heaps more space Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/893-have-you-driven-a-ba-v8/page/3/#findComment-43372 Share on other sites
