^I know...lol...... Still a kid at heart. The toys just became a lot more expensive.

Mum thought it made her looked like a hoon! All my mates thought it looked sick :) and they did there mums car with liquid paper!! Lol.

The first set of tires I put on my Corty back then was the good ol Bridgestone Eagers just so I had the raised white letters, cost me $1100 back then and when your 16 and work part time that was a lot of saving...

Been a while since I've posted in here. The F6 has had a few things done lately.

  • Clutch
The standard clutch started slipping quite badly under power in 3rd & 4th a few months ago. It was inevitable after subjecting it to the added power and torque. I decided to go with a NPC Single Plate Cushion Button clutch. Rated quite high - over 460 rwkw. I wouldn't recommend this clutch for a daily driver, basically it sucks for hill starts and slow speed maneuvering. I knew what I was buying and im very happy with the clutch. My car only gets driven on the weekends for fun so it suits my driving perfectly. It will stand up to a lot of abuse and still hold power after my next round of mods.

The NPC kit comes with your pressure plate, clutch plate, flywheel, slave cylinder + on top of that I ordered new flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts, spigot bearing, rear main seal & I replaced my tail shaft center bearing while the box was out.

The standard ap racing twin plate was a beast. Very heavy.

The new NPC kit. - much lighter rotating assembly - With the new clutch I noticed the car spins up a lot quicker in 2nd, it breaks traction instantly with boost instead of gradually.

  • Power steer pump & high pressure line
My p/s pump started leaking quite badly and was also leaking from the o ring on the high pressure line. I replaced both to be safe.

  • Rear rotors
Still running the stock pbr rotors on the rear after 85,000 kms and I can honestly say 'they are completely finger f*cked'. They are badly warped & I didn't realize just how bad they were until I replaced my front rotors a little while ago. I should have replaced these at the same time.

I went with a set of RDA dimpled & slotted rotors for the rear. DBA T3's were my first choice but at over twice the price I couldn't justify it considering the braking force on the rear of a ute is so small compared to the front.

  • Wheels
I thought I'd treat myself to an early birthday present.....I picked myself up a mint set of genuine fpv gt 335 19's. I've always liked these rims and was lucky enough to pick up this set, as new with good oem dunlop tyres for a great price.

I'm really happy with the overall look of my car now. To me, these rims were the finishing touch.

that arse still hangs too low, personally.

I'll start by saying 'that's what she said'

its sitting a touch lower than normal in that last pic, I had my 4 standard rims & tyres in the boot + the rotors and ps pump.

I personally don't like it when the arse hangs low

EDIT - the pic in my signature is how it normally sits...
