I'm about to install an intank unit & the hell with removing the tub if I can avoid it... Edited 22/03/15 05:27 AM by FiftyOne

Nutserts look much cleaner though no one will ever see them. Edited 22/03/15 05:39 AM by I JET

Just getting the jack under is a *beep*. Have to drive up on timbers. I wish I had a 2 poster in the shed. One day.
I JET Member 325 Member For: 12y 10d Gender: Male Location: Wollongong Posted 03/05/15 09:26 AM Author Share Posted 03/05/15 09:26 AM I felt like I needed a change so I decided to plastidip my standard wheels Anthracite GreyI took all the wheels off so I could work at a comfortable height. A lot of time spent doing this job is just preparation.I did 2 light coats of matte black as my base coats, than 2 - 3 wet coats of Anthracite grey& Finally 1 coat of GlossifierFinal result - It might not be everybody's cup of tea but I'm pretty happy with how it looks. Normally I don't like dark wheels on silver cars but I just really felt like a change. If I get sick of it down the track I'll just peel it back off. The car is still filthy so once the rain f^cks off I'll give it a good wash and take some photos out in the sun.

I JET Member 325 Member For: 12y 10d Gender: Male Location: Wollongong Posted 03/05/15 11:09 AM Author Share Posted 03/05/15 11:09 AM I used half a can of Black, 2 cans of Anthracite Grey, 1/8 can Glosifier. I had the black & Glosifier left over from a previous job. The Anthracite grey covers extremely well.
