Drilling out the hole for the swirl pot is a bit of a handy trick. Ive just had the same walbro pump installed but I have upgraded injectors. Is the fuel feed issue caused by not big enough injectors to get rid of the fuel coming through? The high pressure is due to a restriction in the return line. One fix is to drill out the restriction in the swirl pot like I did, the other less effective fix is to replace the return line between the rail and surge tank + a larger fitting in the surge tank.

From what I've been told this is pretty common when they are subjected to more load / boost, Replaced with a set of genuine coils and re-gapped the plugs while I was at it. Yep I'm gonna have to start saving up for a replacement clutch kit. I've had the standard clutch slip on me twice since the power upgrade, conditions were the same both times, 4th gear pulls, up an incline from low rpm with clutch slipping when hitting full boost. It hasn't slipped on the flat yet, and still grabs hard in 1st 2nd & 3rd up hills. It must be a sign of things to come. I must say I'm not surprised with nearly 1000nm at the treads. I guess its better than having it sh*t itself all of a sudden, at least this way I can start putting some money aside now and be ready for a new kit when it becomes a problem.I'll have to go back and read through the huge clutch recommendation threads again..... Started slipping on the dyno while doing the e85 tune a few weeks back. Reverted back to 98 while I save up for a new clutch and it does first n 2nd fine, slips top of 3rd and 4th is a no go with foot down with 350kw.Have read almost every clutch thread and haven't seen a bad thing about npc's single plate. have seen plenty of good and bad reports on Mals clutches. Will be ordering my npc single plate coppermix in a few weeks. Think it was about $1700 inc delivery with all the braided lines n sh*t and good for 430rwkw. I currently have a direct clutch twin plate ceramic with solid centres in my turbo e series with a t56 and 450hp gets heaps of abuse everytime it's driven. I've lost count of the amount of times I've sidestepped it from a standing start in 3rd and it's still in perfect condition when I pulled the box out to a check the flywheel bolts yesterday.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

eff xr6t Member 569 Member For: 11y 3m 10d Posted 23/11/14 11:10 AM Share Posted 23/11/14 11:10 AM It's actually surprisingly good I thought it would shudder when I bought it but it's very smooth just requires abit more revs to get it off the lights but holds everything I've thrown at it so far between drifting and powerskids at powercruise to just driving around on the road Im definetly happy with it and the fact that if I completely f*ck it that it can be rebuilt for $600 to brand new spec.
