I'm all for cheap nasty repairs to get me by, as this intercooler will only be doing one more circuit day.

I don't have a weld kit and am considering something like this now.

If it works, it works. (Rating may only be 10,000psi, but this will be sufficient...)

Will take some Araldite out to the track too.

What about "Knead It" (I think it's called that?). That stuff is like putty and dries like stone once hard which is pretty quick! I've used it for heaps of fixes over the years and make sure you keep your hands damp as it'seasier to smooth out plus doesn't stick to you like peanut sh*t...

That's what I'd try first.

There's a few different brands, stick to a quality brand like loctite etc.

I carry this stuff when I'm out bashing the bike thru the bush and have seen many successful repairs on radiators and crankcases in let's say , less than clean conditions.

It's good sh!t.

Long ago I used araldite on a radiator that had rusted through on one row.

Was intended to be a short term fix and was expecting the radiator to fail elsewhere and then I would replace the radiator, but it lasted a long time (till the car went to the wreckers as just too old).

It worked so well that when the same car had a welch plug fail, I used it to repair that too, and it worked there as well.

I would not hesitate to use it on a temporary repair of the cooler if I was in your position.

Well track day at Wakefield is over and it was a 28deg day.

Intake temps were at 55deg most of the sessions.

Cruising on freeway were at 5 deg over ambient as a reference.

No pb but consistent low 8's again.

Car was down on Power for sure and I am getting a Plazmaman 1000hp fitted next week.

Cant wait to try it out at the circuit next year!

...and here it is!!!

As "Seaton" mentioned, perfect 76mm thickness to squeeze in the 55mm PWR radiator too.

It feels light as well which is very important for my requirements.
