Who did the trans service and did you use zf lifeguard or western gulf stuff? Also good to hear about your brakes. I'll wait for the update at the 5000/10000kms mark. And also how many days it takes to cover your rims in brake dust

He's put 1000km on them now and he reckons they have practically no dust compared to the Remsas he used before and rated highly. Also he said they have more aggressive initial bite. I know what I'm getting for my next upgrade! Not sure if you can get the same compound pads in a standard Falcon caliper size though, we run Brembos. You should run a cruise to celebrate. I just posted a pic of your car out on a run back in 2008, see this thread

I run DBA 4000 T3 Slotted Rotors with Ferodo DS Performance Pads (FDSE6002 & FDSE6004) and they are great for the size of them. Next to no dust and stop my car from 128mph at the drag strip with no effort at all. I also fully recommend them.

From what I understand they build some of the best ZF's in the biz, so I'm assuming a good quality fluid? Probably the lifeguard I'd say, but I didn't ask...Bit late now but Luke has just reported that he's loving the Project Mu pads he's recently bought. I just posted a pic of your car out on a run back in 2008, see this thread Was very tempted by the mu's Steve, although my pad selection was largely based on feedback from others and from racebrakes. I'm pretty happy with the stopping power - Not quite 6/4 brembo's as in the F^ but the hold up well. I'll ber interested to see how they 'feel' when I add braided lines a little later.Would love to get along to another cruise Dan, I totally agree with your comments on the brake package that you have chosen. RDA slottled and ultimates - YUCK! bahahaha

The bite was better on the ultimates and they seemed to work better when cold, but the ferodo's are more of a 'driver's pad. Brilliant with a bit of heat in them... Can recommend Now to find a pad with the absolute stopping power of the ferodo, minus the dust, with better initial bite for next pad change.... hmmm....
