My first decent Ford, after previously having Mini's, Laser Sport, Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, numerous day to day Japanese cars. Had the G6E Turbo now for about 4 weeks, finally got it cleaned up. Here are some pics.

The other car (ZR1) is the Sunday driver that dad used to own with a manual ZF gearbox.

Yes black is an awesome colour when clean, just had the car professionally cleaned, polished, and coated in dureceal paint sealer, it is now sitting in the garage curing for 3 days. after that all I have to do to clean it is use some bottled spray on cleaner and a microfiber cloth and it should come back to this shine for at least 5 years. well that's the plan anyway.

How much did that set you back to get it coated in dureceal paint sealer??

This has caught my attention.

$250nzd for the clean and polish and stone chip repair. $450nzd for the duraseal coating. So far so good in regards cleaning it each week, spray on some cleaner and wipe with a microfiber cloth.

When it comes to resale a couple of grand return is a good thing. Other than that it is simple to look after with a clean taking about 45 minutes and it is just as shiny as the day it was polished.
