Ok... so the answer to my question... driving to work and back rush hour traffic etc I was getting pretty much 13l/100km. ID1000 tuned to give 327rwkw driving to work n back plus lots of hammer down and Im getting the same. Taking it easy I would quite believe Im using maybe 10-15% less fuel.

Most people ask the same question. What fuel economy are you getting? the same answer is always provided by everyone is: It depends on the drivers driving style.

My answer is the same as what ms700 said, GET a PHUCKEN PRIUS!!!!!

If you are off boost, you can get just as efficient economy with the ID1000 as you did with the factory injectors.

If you always on WOT, then you will find that the ID1000 are a litre eater.

I use the purchased version of fuel log on the android phones to log everything.

My average fuel since I got the car tuned is 13-15l/100km, where as before the tune it was 12l/100.

The reason for this is that I am having way to much fun and am on WOT at least 3-6 times a day.

Bite me. :P

I'd have to respectfully disagree masda

To me it's not the main thing I worry about but it's handy to not cost me too many $$ per km.

These cars tuned properly are the perfect daily. Get around 9l/100km on petrol on the highway and can smoke nearly anything else out there.

I'm actually going to be using e10 again soon for this very reason. Just goes up and down the freeway and I want my car detuned a tad so I won't blow up the gearbox.

I should get around 300rwkw on United 95 e10 and do 11s so can't really complain with that

ahhhhh, but you drive on the freeway. I don't go anywhere near a freeway. I use back roads to get to work. closer that way.

if I take Roe highway to work, there are a heap more km to travel but the fuel economy from that does not warrant the cost at the bowser.

it is cheaper for me to take the back roads.

the smaller the variation in injector flow from one to another in your engine the better, but you also need data on exactly what your injectors are doing, the closer this all is the better idle, economy and sometimes even power

KPM and ID are preferred as they are flow matched and come with actually injector flow data, so less guess work and/or tuning time, which in turn saves you money
