You talking about getting the clear lens off the lights? I heave read on here that FGs aren't as easy as B series. My BFII lights came apart after just leaving them on concrete on a mid 30s day :)

Didn't I read somewhere that you can put them in the oven @ 70 or 80?

Or am I imagining it

You can do that but it depends on what the manufacturer uses to seal the lights. Has obviously changed between B series to FG. Had mine in oven for over half an hour at 150 and couldn't split them

All you gus are right. The usual stuff is butyl rubber, that's the stuff that melts when heated. I'm pretty sure fg have been done with silicon. So I have about a 5% chance of splitting them.

I may hit you up JET50T, that's what I'll be using anyway, can never have enough!

So I got the lights open.

Only way is to cut them open, why ford used silicon and not butyl rubber is beyond me!
