After giving it a look over when I got home, I have found it's an FG block, built 2010 (according to the sticker), and having all the usual identifiers, notched engine mount, 2 possible dipstick locations, extra sensor thread cast into the block. This excited me as it should have quite less km on the engine as then the odo would have read. Possible a warranty job? After a further look, I saw that the aluminum on the front cover, and head looked very "bright" and still have some shiny bits on it, so now I'm wondering if it was a replaced with an FG long motor. Are there any other visual identifiers which may indicate this was a long motor replacement? It's worth noting that this thing doesn't appear to have been tuned (at least majorly), stock injectors as well as standard turbo flapper and actuator. Not much else you can find out.

So I guess I can assume it's a FG long motor then? Sounds like I've had a win for once.
