One of mine is broken also.Cant really help with the cat, how do you know it is the cat. My exhaust rattles at idle, ill have a look at it one day. I guess its either touching something, loose or a rubber mount is perished. Mufflers ect can also rattle internally. Start eliminating problems or take it to a pro. I'm not completely sure it's the cat but definitely up front of exhaust I've got another second hand one to sort it and new mounts. As for plenum mounts I've searched ebay first but there don't seem to be any after market ones out there so I give in and am off to Ford for them they turn out to cost $22 each.
