I'm particularly looking for the most cost effective approach. If you can handle a few less Kw stick with your BA engine, if it goes bang replace it with a BF engine.My understanding of the differences between the two is rods, pistons, timing cover and ecu. Please correct me if I'm wrong.Guys, do BA's have one or two knock sensors? B series sump needs to be used, oil pickup needs to be moved which requires re torquing a main cap. Dip stick needs to be tapped in a diff spot on the block and an engine mount needs to be moved.There is a great thread on AFF about installing an fg block in a b series.
