I wont be as easy with the fg as the cooler is a bit more pronounced.I first bought the car and didnt have an exemption (do now) but never had any trouble from the police.registration wasnt a problem insurance however wouldve been in excess of 4g a year. the fine/penalties for driving a restricted vehicle in nsw are 7 points (instant disqualification for 3 months) and $475 fine, seeing as though anyone willing to do this will drive without p-plates add another 2 demerit points and $220 will most likely resultedit: it seems odd that you would post something on a forum for a "mate". are you the person intending on buying a xr6t on your p's and not willing to cop some flack for it?
