Accept it, and get on with life.

How the hell does a kid this young afford a car like that? It's easier than you think. If the kid lives with his parents and has a 50K a year job - saving for a year and maxing out a credit card does the trick. Or if he's really lucky, the folks buy him the car. Cause the RTA record that says its an F6 and not an XR6 certainly will. So your $77, which is in fact $81 will also go up another $700 for driving prohibited vehicle with 7 points. Somtimes the advice given on here is just mind boggling.I.B. Edited 26/05/09 11:29 AM by Iconic Bionic

If you're just after the wank psshht factor just hook one of those adapter things up for your exhaust.

Although that doesn't stop the popo running your plates and looking at what the original badge was. Don't believe anything I say in the above posts, I'm a mass hypocrite as I'm just about to go out the door to go look at a 03 xr6t myself.

And it's harder to get a permit for a vehicle owned by your parents, because you need to prove that its the only car available to you, and that there's no public transport nearby. Plus, I don't think young kiddies realise how much power a turbocharged vehicle can put out, one squirt down the road racing your mates sick dose vl could end in you wrapped around a tree because you're not used to that much power. I've been driving 400kw+ skylines, v8's etc before I even got my learners, and hell I'm still scared of putting the foot down in a powerful vehicle on the open road, because track driving is much different to street driving.Edit: I just realised he hasn't been online since 3rd June, probably went out for a boostloosing cruise and got done by the popo.
