If you are in QLD, forget it - you will get ass raped, no exemption.

Also your insurance wont be covered if you have an accident in it.

You will lose your license for driving it due to losing so many points from the amount of fines. Plus the fines will be in excess of $1000

Buy a sh*t box and drive it around and do up the F6 alot more.

you didnt contemplate this before spending 30 to 40 grand?

If you went for an exemption and I was at the rta/vic roads/etc id tell you to buy a 4wd. I wonder how long it will be before you get sick of being pulled over and hassled even if you get an exemption?

In Vic its not worth driving if you are on your p's

1. You wont be insured if you are in an accident.

2. You will get pulled over all the time if you have your p's up.

Best thing to do would be to buy a banger to get around in and wait till your off your p's then drive it.

1. Just to say again, im on my P's and I am insured in the case of an accident

2. Never ever been pulled over, even with my XR6T (was not debadged or anything, cooler would stand out cos I sprayed it silver)

Lets just memba that it is a stock standard car from factory... And if my dad owned CROWN CASINO, I would be driving a Lambo. Im not gonna be a billionaire and drive a sh#t box just cos there a laws and regulations that restrict P platers. I could go on and on arguing this case, cos even though there is that so called P platers are dangerous drivers, that's just crap, its upto every individual person on how they drive. Im so carefull and worried that when im driving im gonna hit even someones car when I park or even if I gutter my rim, ppl dont care, so there is a gap in between.

How the hell can you be insured to drive a car when you are NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED to drive it???

The laws are there to protect everybody. There are people on here with 20 years experince driving high powered cars and they have been caught out in certain situations and crashed.
