Then visited a mate in hospital after he'd been touched-up with a baseball bat because he used to keep his keys under his mattress. Mine have sat on the kitchen bench in plain view ever since. I was discussing crime rates vs street lighting.. Someone said that car theft these days generally involves break and enter and to minimise car theft we needed to hide our keys..Damn if someone goes to the trouble of breaking in they can take the car provided they get out.. With a little luck they'll kill themselves..
