Benny351 Member 3 Member For: 11y 2m 12d Posted 28/08/14 10:00 AM Share Posted 28/08/14 10:00 AM hey everyone,I've got a 2006 BF2 XR6 sedan in octane with black stripes fitted by ford, I'm assuming at the time of manufacturer or fitted at the dealer etc.Im just wanting to know, from personal experience of others, not personal opinions, if theres going to be any downside to removing the stripes? am I going to see a really obvious colour difference e.g old paint and new paint underneath the stripe area. How good is the paint? Kept inside, outside?When we pull decals off cars at work when we have to paint something, you can see a difference at times, not all the time, you won't know until you do it sorry. Hmmm maybe I should lift one corner and compare. Ive met someone who did the exact same to his car, except his was red. Both 2006 BF mk2's.
