Barnz

I'm getting this stuff multiple times a day, starting to think it's time to get off the net

I do not ask an electricians point of view and then start to question it or argue it, but this is what happens to me day in day out.

I was not being cryptic but the way I read your post was abusive, whether or not it was meant to be I don't know, I apologize if it was meant to be taken that way, but fact is

I'm human and have good days and bad days, todays not a good day

Mate I value your opinion greatly and that's exactly why I wanted to hear your thoughts on the subject. I haven't read every post on this forum and had not seen you post anything previously in regards to this exact topic.

So yeah I did get a bit offended when you treated me like I should already know and like I was disputing your opinion. My last post was not so much abusive but more like "wtf bro?" I just didn't understand how we weren't on the same page already.

Also I am a sparky and do understand all to well where your coming from...but in any case my original question "how do you figure" was genuine, not a challenge. As I was thinking along the same lines given my own observations. Perhaps I should have worded it differently, the internet does lack tone and it is hard to know exactly what people mean at times.

Cant say I envisioned the conversation panning out this way when I asked lol....

Anyway...would be cool if there was something preventative that could be done at the time of repair as obviously there is no point doing anything about it unless it happens given it's a labor intensive job. Just would suck to have it happen again after having it repaired which I believe a couple of people have had happen. I understand currently only original equipment is available.

all cool mate.

there was some rubbish going on about the same subject but not on this page.

Preventative? Not sure

Atomic do a hardened lower gear and modified tensioner, does it prevent it? I have no idea
