so I am not the only one that gets ripped of,I feel for you man .that would get my blood boiling .have a talk with the guy .even ask for some money back if he will not take the car back

They may have had a build engine with lots of money spend on it ,and decided to not sell it with it .

I have always been under the impression that you could never fit a older engine into a newer car due to emission laws ?

f*ck I would be ropeable!

Not a strong as the 6/06 onward internals but still can take 330-350 killer wasps and up to 20psi (or more!) with a good tuner and survive for years...

Still would be f*cking ropeable though and you should think about taking old mates thumb and forefinger on both hands as payment!

that is just so wrong if he never said nothing about it ,who reads the fine print ? no one .lucky you noticed it .

Alright lads, sorry I've been busy with uni. What are my options regarding getting my car back up to spec. Will I need something like this

out of a bfmk2 turbo or whole engine or just build rods and pistons. I'm particularly looking for the most cost effective approach.
