Fordtech, Sory you missed the day we had a great group of guys attend the day and a good time was had by all. We hope to run another day in the future hopefully you can make that day. You would be impressed with our road now, looks like a drag strip the boys left plenty of rubber behind and the twin licorice strips are continous for about 200 metre's. The award for the best burnout goes to a phantom coloured ute (no names) looked like there was a buiding on fire. aps Member 1,505 Member For: 22y 1m 25d Posted 14/03/04 09:16 PM Author Share Posted 14/03/04 09:16 PM Hey Guys, thanks to all who attended the unichip demo Day. I hope you enjoyed the afternoon and had a few laughs and left knowing more about the xr6t and performance enhancements, there is just so much to know about the xr6t and 4 hours is such a short time :( to cover many isuues that arise over the course of the discussion. It was certainly our pleasure to host the day and to meet so many of you who are active on the forum, my apologies if there were some of you whom I did not get to meet during the afternoon ......time flies when your having fun. We have some great shots of the streeet lined with xr6t BA falcons, seems like blueprint is the most popular colour of choice in Melbourne at the moment. It was pleasing to see so many of you had interest in the Unichip and the new plug in loom adaptor, this concept will make installation quicker and cleaner so that the dyno operator can concentrate on the most important issue which is achieving the best state of tune for each individual engine . We will plan to host another day to cover more advanced isues in the future, and possibly incorporate some dyno testing of members cars on the same day. As you all know there is just so many technical parts of the car to cover and one topic leads to another, next time I would like to cover, 1) the auto trans upgrades2) Clutch and man trans options3) Brake upgrades4) engine and trans oil coolersAgain thanks to all members for attending, I trust you left knowing more about your passion..... that is the mighty xr6t BA falcon. If you have interest in APS hosting another tech day day please let me know and what topics you would like to see covered. I especially liked all the aspects in relation todoing other mods which may impede the performance when time comesto chipping. I will be leaving my 'T' stock standard until the day arriveswhen I go stage 1.5 or possibly 2. Very interesting to note that youcan have loss of power if things aren't matched up properly.Just hoping that my 'T' doesn't have that valve problem as noted onthe C2R run--- loss of around 25kw !Looking forward also to APS's 'other' developments.Regards,Daniel Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8902-unichip-technical-day/page/7/#findComment-101210 Share on other sites
