I feel for you mate, my first tuner destroyed my btr trans, found out later it was slipping on the dyno and the boss just told him to keep winding up the line pressures. It failed the day after I got it home and it ran like a S*(&*(T heap when cold. that's when I bit the bullet after rebuilding the trans and drove 8 hrs to mackay to get CPV to tune it. When he asked why not get the local gut to do it, so I told him what happened and said I just want the tune to look after the trans. Got it back with 300kw and it goes like a cut cat on the 95 tune as well as the 98 tune

Man I feel for you.

sh*t luck. I would stop all work ASAP and go to a reputable tuner and throw cash there :/ surely even if you have to drive a while it would be worth it in the long run

I have no more money left except $1100 that I am in advance with my home loan which my girlfriend has transferred over into our spending money account .I have had no sleep at all .Was going to ask him today if he would do the valve springs and the E Boost for the money I have left ,which would be my only option to get the car running before powercruise .Another option is just to sell up and start fishing ,because the same thing happens to me there too .I end up buying fish and chips on the way home .I am considering just to get rid of it , I have had enough of it .No mater where I go I get screwed over .

May be you should forget powercruise and either just drive or park the ute for a while and clear your head a little.

Once the pressure is off and you have had time to reflect on things, make your mind up then which way you want to go with it and whom you want to do it.

^ what she said.

Man I drive 6 hours each way to visit my tuner, there's a tune shop 10mims away from me, I know by driving the 6 hours I'm getting my better service! Cheaper NO better YES!

Sounds like a lot of shops see you coming, can see your not very educated with the car and it's workings so they take you for a ride. A reputable tuner wouldn't do this.

If strapped for cash, so back admire what the is to admire like all you blood sweat and tears that's has built the thing then when read go to a reputable tuner. You have done everything correct in building it now you have one more correct choice to make and it's a simple on, CORRECT TUNER CHOICE.
