I think you will have to remove the clear coat that covers the alloy first.

I think there will be a fair bit of labour involved.

Mines not as bad as yours but still gives me the sh!ts every time I wash it !

I sent photos off to one place that fixes wheels, and they said around the $300 mark and they will come out like new. (Machine, Paint and Clearcoat)

What do you guys think?...is that a fair price?

Stevo, from what I've heard alliance rim repairs are good at repairing rims, but the painting side of things not so much.

I'm in the same dilemma at the moment.... I've been quoted around $170 a wheel + a little more for one wheel as it needs to be welded. Seems like a fair price but then again once you add it all up you come close to a new set of rims.

I've looked for a set of Phoon 18's in good condition online but they are hard to come by. Brand new set was $2k or something way above what I'd want to pay even considering cash back from selling off old ones.
