I was looking at putting intake muffler delete on my g6e turbo (baby turbo) but was told by my tuner could loose about 20wrkw anyone else had loss of power from this?

Interesting. I never heard of anyone loosing top end power with one fitted.

I fitted one to my non tuned tuned FG with a Herrod intake and if anything it made it feel more laggy with a bit more intake noise. Ended up taking the muffle delete pipe off a day later.

That makes no sense! Its literally only there to quiet down the induction noise of the stock car. I'd be asking your tuner how the hell he can substantiate a loss of power by replacing the stock pipe. If anything it should be better as there is no gas speed loss with the solid pipe.

All muffle delete pipes are a waste of time on a stock car imo.

I tried both 4" and 3.5" on my old FG and it was noticably laggier.
