I can only speak for myself here. I've never been left stranded with a Ford. I treat my cars with respect and have have done a lot of K's.

Falcons as taxis speaks volumes.

It seems that some of the Falcons here get an absolute thrashing, and most maintain reliability( including many modifications).

I stepped over to the diesel/import side in 2010.( new Navara). I didn't like it at all, and sold after 14 months ownership.

Definitely if you look after your cars they will look after you. Ford's are pretty foreign to me though so I don't know what I'm looking or hearing for.

You'll want an auto when towing that weight, the manual has a lower rating. It can do it but the clutch gets a hard time when pushing to the limits of that weight.

I've modded mine and give it a pretty hard time and it hasn't let me down yet. I do however maintain it at shorter intervals than the factory schedule. (I think most people do here)

About $2,500K.

Dont get a stainless one they take forever to make if at all....
