Hi Guys,

Aside from the rear muffler delete for straight pipes thread I can't find any answers. The FG's have been around for a while now but I can't find a complete bolt on option available to replace the rear muffler only. I read they bolt from before the diff and most people just chop and weld but does anyone do sell a rear muffler only? I find a lot of cat back and turbo back kits so obviously people are making them but no one seems to sell the muffler. I think some people say it increases the gas flow enough to requires a tune? Is this true or not? The rest of my car is stock, just want a nicer looking muffler and a nicer turbo straight 6 note.

Thanks for any feedback

just replace the cat back section. There are plenty of options that will bolt up to the stock cat, but I think you'll be limited on size. There won't be any increase in flow while the standard cat is in place, so no need for a tune.

just realised the OP is a month old, probably got an answer already

Thanks for the reply. I have seen all the cat back systems, I really only wanted to replace the very rear section from just before the diff and rear muffler as bolt on option, just for a nicer exhaust note but have found nothing. Not chasing power so I'm OK with the cat back middle section and definitely not looking to have to tune it.
