Sedan? There was a rear brake, brake line recall back in the day, have a look under the rear for fluid leaks.

Just read this the other day Ralphy

First things first.

I would like to correct the title of this topic. Brake Failure!. (face palm). Matty P your joke was wasted on my stupidity.

Thanks to everybody who gave advice.

Pumped brakes. Couldn't see any leaks. Checked reseviour. Looked low.

Going to mechanics this arvo. Luckily I have a mechanics less than 100m from the car.

Might purchase braided lines off ebay.

Any other input is appreciated.

Cheers fellas......

Any other input is appreciated.

Jack up each corner/end of the car.

Remove each wheel and have a look around.

If it's a leak in a brake line somewhere then you'll see it.

Might be something as simple as a copper washer between the brake line and caliper.

Good thing you weren't right up it and had to emergency brake when it failed!

Get brakes serviced, brakes fail...hmmm. Let us know what happens!

Split brake line was the culprit.

Replacing all brake lines today with new braided lines.

Mechanic said should cost about $500 supplied and fitted. With a flush and all.

Hows that for price?

Again thanks for all the input fellas. Its nice to know that after a few months off the forum that you're all still happy to help.

Regards.

Total novice.
