Yes but this is a typical problem when a surgetank is introduced not very common with a stock fuel system

Got KPM to check the tune today as it was a hot day. Lean and detonating, AFRs and boost don't match the sheet he gave me so something is up. It boost spikes and goes lean at peak torque, eg exactly where you don't want it to happen.

Getting them to just re-do it completely from scratch.

Moral of the story, don't take your car to bruce heinrich.

Did you get it sorted mate? Was the intank hose perished again as I learnt that lesson back in 2005 that you need submersible fuel hose! Gates was the brand from memory that had it available!

Getting it retuned mid next week, I will get them to check that as well.

My AFR curve is a whole 0.75 leaner than the one I got from bruce, does this indicate that his probe was just half hanging out the exhaust/calibrated wrong, or is it possible that you can legitimately get the tune to change that much due to not setting something up right?

Post up bruces graph and the one from KPM

First up in all honesty let bruce have a look this is a must and to be fair to the workshop

Next up , chit happens parts fail its life so yeh something could of happened

To answer your q

Not "linear" like you mentioned, this is indicating to me you have an issue but not limited to that

If an o2 sensor fails it usually reads 0 or 22afr , I dont ever think they could fail by a %

If the o2 was part hanging out the exhaust it reads way f*cked as the exhaust "pulses" so I highly doubt this is the issue

Bruce is making an effort to step up his game this year so have a word to him as I bet he will be keen to do anything to help you out and its only fair to him and the workshop

To let you know, if I wanted to make any workshop tune look crap on the dyno I can so dont get caught up in "business"
