Your bearings have normal heavy load wear, not that bad. The ring lands on the cast stock piston are simply not designed for the loads we put on them. They will do that. However that cam wear is a bit of a concern.

Might not be getting quite enough oil, or the wrong oil is going used, or the high spring pressure is causing excessive wear

Could be something here but the stock ford piston is actually quite a good unit I can only imagine what my rotating assembly looks like also after learning to tune lol Bent rod is a nice touch to ...... It does "seem" like the crow set has this flaw but as you said its been brought up many times now by many tune shops Nice to see piks in your threads keep it up

I have a spring tester so I'll see how their going, and go from their..Yea mainly cost, but essentially this is just a stepping stone setup... my real goal is to do a de-stroked monster haha, but being a young guy looking to buy a house, get married etc it's not realistic right now... I've set a budget of $10-12k this is a really tight budget and most people getting this list of mods done through a shop would be looking at double that, it's all I can afford, so I'm trying to get the main components done and I can later add bolt ons like a manifoldThe fg manifold only flows slighty higher but has a lot more even flow
