It definitely looks like they spent time designing this one compared to the Ba/f ones... First thing you notice is that everything is alot more even then the Ba/f, the ports are larger, actually they are virtually the same size as what I have opened my one up toMy gasket compared to an off the shelf gasket.. Notice it's 1-2mm larger around the entire port, which is virtually the std size of the FG mani... So if anyone has changed their gasket, make sure it matches the port before installing it on the FG's, otherwise it will create a restrictionNo progress on my car, just saving up for this rear end, so playing with other people's cars/money ... I've successfully installed an LSA crate motor into a VE clubby, finished tuning it and he loves it starts, idles, drives perfectly, a very linear 350ish rwkw.. But naturally were boosting it haha, overdrive pully and injectors (I already upgraded the pump, and we made a intercooler setup, exhaust, intake etc) should see close to 400 on 98

The above ones just blow.I got a spare FG turbo manifold where I am considering converting it to a split pulse T4. It really depends on how weld the manifold takes to tig welding. I am pretty sure its a cast steel as opposed to cast iron manifold and should weld up OK.If it does weld up OK then I would consider building up weld to make the divider and add on bits for the bolts. Maybe doable. I was going to run the external wastegates off the turbine.Just an idea cause have always prefered split pulse setups. All went well, except the oversize washers don't fit on the front two studs as they wont seat properly because the machined surface isn't big enough for it, so I put the old washers back on those two..Now I was playing with the idea that the head lifted due to the in efficiency of the exhaust side of things, ie cam, manifold, rear housing.. But going through some calculations and some simulations on my program, increasing the exhaust duration by 10* and slightly more lift I was able to pick up 100hp but the cylinder pressure and port pressures went up also, which isn't what we want.. With some help from jet I had another think about it, why am I chasing numbers? normally I'm the first to tell people that dyno numbers don't mean anything, what I've achieved already proves the combo works, I just need to get the rest of the car sorted to get it down the track, Anyway, long story short I picked up a set of FG cams from a wreckers for $200, so why not see if they make a difference, I wanted to create a cam dr file of them but my patience got the better of me and just slapped them in.. I can always take the rocker cover off another time and setup a dial gauge and degree wheel.. NA Fg and turbo FG cams are the same ford part# if anyone was wondering...Ceramic coated dump and my straight through cat pipe... I'm no fabricator so I was un-aware that most people's v bands are different, so the ones I got were narrower and seal differently to the Niz ones, so it's not sealing very well, I have to sort it, back to the drawing board.. The real exciting part,My independent Motorsport twin bush hat should arrive today,And I've ordered a eaton trutrac, drive shaft shop 1400hp shaft kit, all new bearings etc, rear pads and rotors... I'll tell you there wasn't much change from $6k.. Hopefully I can get it all in by my birthday at the end of next week, because who doesn't love birthday skids? Haha
