How deep is the space below the sub in a G6E will there be sufficient space for a sub with a large magnet? Also what power ratings are recommended for an after market sub for the factory amp to handle?

Are sorry mate it probably a single voice coil as just dropped it in.

Couldn't remember specs, so cut and pasted from online.

Just went with recommendation from bloke at Alberts Car Stereo.

Bump for Mick and others

How's the sub going? Got a birthday coming up and have Polk MM speakers in the front and the same DB series in the rear, now looking to add a sub and considering my options before sending a link to the missus :)

Also my boot is always chock full of work gear, like the rear most half under the boot lid itself is filled with boxes of computer gear/cords and bags of junk. Will this improve or reduce the sub sound quality?

Edit - I'll also need to find a sub enabled rear parcel shelf from a wreckers since mine doesn't have it. Or I cut mine up. Am I better off fitting a boxed sub somewhere? There is a little bit of space in the boot right behind the seats...

Definitely fit a boxed sub somewhere dude. That way you can put a 12" in vs an 8" and get much nicer bass!

Yeah cool man. I can get you good pricing too, I'm on really good terms with the manager at Westside in Cannington. I'm in P-town at the moment, flying to Melbourne Friday morning though.
