Ok so I got these hopefully not to bad.

Anyone know what the factory mounting depth is on the stock ones. These are only 43mm. Dont want to fark around to much.

Now time to find out how to get a fg door interior off

Oh and they are 6.5"

I run kicker component speakers (6.5) through a 4 channel. Pretty sweet speakers. Amping them bring it to life.

I thought the fg had a plastic moulding around the speaker all ready

No they are not 5x7. Talked to a mate that changed his and they a 6 or 6.5

that's why I want to know what depth the standards are before I hit bunnings up for some mdf

I think they will go straight in brad as they seem shallow

Oh sh*t nah that was my old ba ute. From memory I still needed to make wooden spacers for fg though because they wouldn't fit in the doors and the plastic thing is attached to the stock speakers

What speakers did you get and if you have the old ones can you do me a sloid and measure the base to top. Cheers

How did you go with the tweeter install. What size is the standard in th A pillar
