Just a bit off topic but GeGe6, what Polk speakers did you use for the front of the car? I was looking at the Pol Audio DB571.

Coz I've done the FG Sub fix (swapped wires over), if I put a better sub in - do I put the wires back the way they were originally ??

If it's wired out of phase from factory then leave em reversed.

Got an iphone? You can download an app called JL audio and is has a built in speaker phase tester. You play a test pulse through the speakers which you can download from the link in the app and it will tell you if your speakers are wired out of phase.

What did it cost you all up to replace all the factory "premium" stuff with Polk gear and dynamat GeGe6?

I did it in stages, but I think all speakers where about $350 including Sub.

Most of the sound matting I got from JayCar in stages as well.

It does come on special for about $19 a roll.

Think I used.

1 sheet parcel shelf

1.5 on each door

2-3 boot tyre well etc.

Interesting. And how much difference did you notice with respects to sound quality. I know the stock ICC is the biggest issue with respects to getting an unclean signal, but be interested to know if it's worth pursuing.
