Replace Factory 8 Inch Sub Options?

Replaced mine twice.

First time with $30 response 8" sub from Jaycar, believe it or not it was better then stock one.

Next I replaced it with a Polk DB series for about $90.

That sub for me is awesome as running Polk DB all round.

You can replace it with a regular 8" sub. But it's still going to sound crap. It'll use the whole boot as it's box just like the factory sub, it's not a true free air sub.

RBsnake, I beg differ!

Get your self some Response dyna matting from Jaycar, line the boot including tyre well, parcel shelf and boot lid.

Imho it works awesome off factory unit.

I see no point being over powered by a 12" box in boot if the rest of the systems is not up to it.

Also forgot to mention, I saw the polk db sub at autobarn so they might carry them ? It was for $130 bucks.
