Not sure how much you can get away with before it is noticeable though and it would depend on the offset/width of the rim as to how much extra torque it would produce.Pretty sure that's it anyway. And in this case I actually see a vapid reason for it being so.

I've seen the BA 18" XR rims on plain XT Falcons and on XR8's with PBR brakes...might be worth offering to buy them off a random guy if you can't find any for sale off car.

You could always throw on a set of rims off a FPV GS. They're factory and I'm pretty sure they were the standard rim on the BF GTP. I've seen them sell for about $1500. Usually have some usable rubber on them for that price too.

Posted 04/01/15 12:46 PM Share Posted 04/01/15 12:46 PM Ive bought 8 BA alloys that have small buckles, gutter rash on them......Im going to get them all straightened out and have four polished up to use as road wheels while the other four will be just painted silver for track use.Not real cheap at 250 odd bucks a wheel to get em' cleaned up....ugh

At least I assume the XR8 18's don't have the same hard corner between the outer face and the inside faces.
