Fuel Pressure Issue

Walbro 460 flows a fair bit more then a Bosch pump Kosij. And I run an -6 line back to my surge and and standard return to tank and can get down to 2 bar minimum. Twin 044's as well

I have a walbro intank pump feeding the surge then twin 044's to the rail and then a fpr1200 with a -6 return to surge and stock lines back to fuel tank my base pressure can go under 40psi!

Again you have missed the point of twin walbro pumps flowing more then twin 044's Kosij. Looking at the process west fitting kit they supply it seems like it is the return line to the tank being to small. As you have almost 3 walbro 460 pumps trying to go down a 8mm return hose. Are the pumps on separate relays?

^My thoughts exactly. I wasn't 100% sure on exactly flow data but was confident the twin walbro's flow more fuel than the 044's, but it doesn't matter. We need to start going through the process to get it sorted.

Check the base fuel pressure with the vac line off firstly and we can go from there.

You need to check each section to see where the restriction lies.

If you measure the ID of the of the plastic connector for the return on the fuel pump cradle you will find it only measures around 4mm. So your return line is meant to be 5/16 (about 8mm) then hits entrance to the fuel pump cradle and there you have a restriction.

The one way valve in the FPcradle is a restriction so take that out (yes I know about the start up issue thingo). Then you have the venturi that you got to drill out.

But in saying that, when you remove the oneway valve, the orifice is only 4mm without further drilling and you can drill the venturi 4+ mm and it will still work with a high flowing return.

So my first step would be to do what Toads said and then work down the line. The next point would be disconnect the return at the fuel pump cradle and set up a connection so it flows out of the car.

Maybe you can drill out the plastic inlet on the cradle a little, the one way valve out to 5mm and the venturi to 5mm
