My question is how do I safely and correctly fill the gearbox up with oil. I know I can remove the filler plug and pump oil into the box until it trickles out of the filler plug hole... but surely that's not the total amount. I dont want to crank my car over with no oil in my pumps and throughout the rest of the box and damage anything or is this the only way?P.S. I will fill my tourqe converter with 1l of oil or so before intallation. PLEASE HELP!

Then after its been in park transfer to reverse which has had no oil located in it. ?I understand How to refill and chack transmission fluid. But still no one has answered my question. ?
