I have had them and am at stock power levels. Now running a 275 NT05 and I wouldn't even say that holds 1st gear 100%. Maybe they did for a very slight period after they wore in. Keep in mind, 1st gear in a ZF is short. You really need to not flatten it straight away. Give it more throttle as the revs rise. To much torque to the rear tyres in 1st gear. 2 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88815-will-nitto-invos-get-me-through-1st-gear/page/2/#findComment-1487855 Share on other sites

I run my rears at 30psi and im happy with the amount of traction they provide once warm. My cars not standard and I can easily get full traction in second so id imagine they would work ok on a standard car. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88815-will-nitto-invos-get-me-through-1st-gear/page/2/#findComment-1487870 Share on other sites

barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 11y 5m 6d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 27/07/14 04:15 AM Share Posted 27/07/14 04:15 AM ^^^ I think what jet is saying is that they are a street legal slick and a hopeless all rounder(wet weather) therefore not a true street tyre. Mmmaybe. Probably soft aswell so would wear quickly. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88815-will-nitto-invos-get-me-through-1st-gear/page/2/#findComment-1487945 Share on other sites

I wasn't expecting that good street tyres would have such a hard time with the amount of torque our cars put out! Oh well, I may have to reconsider what I want from my tyres, although it does say a lot about the FK452s which, all things considered, sound like they were probably doing a pretty decent job... fehlbie Donating Members 142 Member For: 16y 25d Posted 27/07/14 09:45 AM Share Posted 27/07/14 09:45 AM I have run Bridgestone, falken, Dunlop and Nitto Invo. The Nitto Invo is the best tyre I have used. They are quiet, grip really well in the wet and dry and you get reasonable mileage. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/88815-will-nitto-invos-get-me-through-1st-gear/page/2/#findComment-1488001 Share on other sites
