No, a 245 invo will not hold first gear. I have had them and am at stock power levels.

Now running a 275 NT05 and I wouldn't even say that holds 1st gear 100%. Maybe they did for a very slight period after they wore in. Keep in mind, 1st gear in a ZF is short.

You really need to not flatten it straight away. Give it more throttle as the revs rise.

If you decide on invos try 245 40 19 . I run my rears at 30psi and im happy with the amount of traction they provide once warm. My cars not standard and I can easily get full traction in second so id imagine they would work ok on a standard car.

^^^ I think what jet is saying is that they are a street legal slick and a hopeless all rounder(wet weather) therefore not a true street tyre. Mmmaybe. Probably soft aswell so would wear quickly.

Hmm, interesting. I wasn't expecting that good street tyres would have such a hard time with the amount of torque our cars put out! Oh well, I may have to reconsider what I want from my tyres, although it does say a lot about the FK452s which, all things considered, sound like they were probably doing a pretty decent job...
