The bulge suits the XR series (6, T and and IMO it in no way infers that people who get them wish they had an XR8 deep down. re: "Anyone looked into carbon fibre FPV/XR8 replica bonnets?", Sydney Special Vehicles at North Ryde have a fibreglass bonnet for around $1000 fitted. Otherwise Ford sell the real McCoy for $1450 (trade price) - painting's extra.

Posted 05/02/04 06:47 AM Author Share Posted 05/02/04 06:47 AM I think I had my first ever religous experience today. When I picked up my car, after 59 days at the repair shop, it had just been detailed and was very clean. :( I was a bit sad as it ment it didn't need a clean. Well I have just washed and polished the mighty "T" and I can tell you that if you have never polished a BA bulge then you're definately missing out. Its definately a life defining moment. In the 8 days I have had my car back I'm averaging 21.1 Lt/100km. Yep I think I missed her. I think I must be trying to use all the petrol that I didn't use when she was in the shop. I got to go now I need to polish the tyres. Geea. The not so good news is so do the guys and I'm starting doubt the sexuality of some of my male staff and customers. They all seem to look at me and my "T" a bit different now. Geea.
