Have a look at the nizpro site - On the exhaust side of things, they go a fair way with power increases without any changes, then a bit further with just a cat change.

There is no definate answer because the exhaust becomes more of a restriction the higher amount of air you try push through it, the general consensus is after 300rwkw the FG exhaust should be upgraded so if your going a bigger turbo then you need an exhaust upgrade.

From my investigations for my own car they recommend changing the exhaust at around 320-330rwkw. Again, you could prob make more power than this without it but the back pressure on the turbine wheel becomes counter productive and pushes the turbo a bit too hard. Obviously when putting on a whole system, wastegates need porting to control boost due to the more free flowing nature of the larger exhaust.

its a hub centric dyno and ive taken 3 of my cars to the same tuner, hes quite reputable in melbourne motorsport scene, did 3 runs 2nd made just over 400 and then it was detuned to 385 or somethink due to running stock boost controller spiking
