I'd stay clear of the Mainlube stuff boys, I put it in my turbo (engine, diff, gearbox)...noticed sweet FA difference to be honest. My gearbox rollover was horrible, possibly got worse after old mate Slako put redline in the gearbox when he changed my clutch. But yeah, the Mainlube stuff was uber expensive and I had all sorts of issues with shipping! I think it's only got such a "massive following" on AFF coz Steve from Mainlube pushes it so hard on there.

In neutral with the clutch out, the gears rattle around with a sound that is a cross between a bottom end knock and marbles in a milo tin, also on take off with lowish revs it can make ratchety type sound.... All pretty average from late model car......but it is a truck box I guess lol

^^^^^ yep mines the same, well was, until I dumped and changed the fluid.

There was only 4 litres of whatever was in there, I put 4.8 litres of Transmax Z in there, my gearbox is now easily 50% quieter.

Just changed mine yesterday. Put Transmax Z in at 20k, car now has 60k. Had a lot of rollover and in gear up to around 2k like yours gaz. Pulled out nearly 4l of Transmax and put the best part of 5l of Penrite pro gear in. Rollover and in gear is definitely a lot better. However cold shifts from 1-2 are a bit more notchy. No complaints though. Cost 60bucks from Repco and happy to change it every 30k.
